AFTER SCHOOL FOR ALL CHALLENGE 2009
The eighth annual Afterschool for All Challenge was held April 27-28, 2009 in Washington, D.C. After school supporters from across the state of South Carolina returned home last week after meeting with Members of Congress including Senator Jim DeMint, Representative and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, Representative Joe Wilson, Representative J. Gresham Barrett and Representative John M. Spratt to ask for more funding for after school programs. The visit was part of the eight annual Aftrschool for All Challenge, sponsored by the Afterschool Alliance.

Join Afterschool for All South Carolina: Project 2010 to show your support for the goal of quality, affordable after school and summer learning opportunities for all of South Carolina's youth and children. The South Carolina Afterschool Alliance has partnered with the Afterschool Alliance, an national public awareness and advocacy organization, to bring together all South Carolinians in support of expanded after school programming to serve all youth and families who need them.
